Things change...

My house echoes a lot more than it used to, particularly upstairs. I basically stopped working on it or doing anything other than cleanup after the housewarming party...luckily there aren't any major things that need repair. Except for a piece of siding on the outside.

I went to the outlet mall in San Marcos today with my BME and the female elders of his family. I was lucky enough to find some sweaters that are warm but not terribly bulky (and are GIRL sweaters, too!) for the winter. It's been a bane of mine to not have something suitably cute to wear out on cold winter nights where I don't have to shiver inside a coat. Hopefully that's been rectified.

I've also been looking for a winter coat. In blue/teal. I think it was something like $75 and I figured I could wait until sales came to get it. I like the aforementioned coat because it looks like it'd be flattering. I found out today, much to my surprise, that Valerie Plame is a real person AND a name of a Decemberists song. Crazyness.

Oh yeah, and I got a raise (cost of living, about $1.50 more per hour base). Hoooooray!
