In case anyone was concerned, my mother and I are back on email communication terms. Sure, it's a little strained and they're not more than a line or two long, but it's something, I guess.
I'm getting back to being excited about finding a house, and my new realtor is probably a big factor in this. Which is good, because as I mentioned to a friend of mine, I seem to have housemates all set up before I've even got a house for us all to live in.
This should be an interesting experience. Luckily I'll be keeping odd hours so I can manage my "lay on the ground and thrash" routine without too much embarrassment. Essentially it's just that I like to sit/lay on my yoga mat while watching TV and do the odd sit-up, crunch, pull-up, or yoga move during commercials. There's no order, logic, or pattern, hence the name. It seems to work, but more likely it's the running around at work and the lack of food that's causing my slightly smaller body. Whatever it is, it seems to be gradual and I like it.
Part of me thinks I'm just going to end up on my own forever. Then I remind myself that two of my housemates are coming up to visit this weekend, and much excitement is to be had!! Hooray!
The words "comfortable and numb" come to mind.

working in the middle of the night can be lonesome (esp with only two coworkers). I found doing stuff with people before work made me feel a little less alone!
Yay for new housemates and a new realtor!!
