Date Trois with Trois

So I think that this is going to be my last routine entry for awhile. Trois and I had our third date last night - we went to go see the latest Sherlock Holmes movie together. It was delightful!

I brought movie candy (Mike&Ikes and Goobers) after a suggestion from Trois earlier that week about sneaking candy in via my purse. [Did I mention that Trois taught me about the IMing thing only a day or so after I updated my iPhone software? Because he did. And it is great because now I can text people more often and because he and I can chat with more sophistication than a mere Facebook conversation.]

Movie candy was a hit! And we went to the nearby restaurant/bar Cover 7 (Thank you, C&J, for introducing it!) for dinner...and were the second-to-last table to leave as they closed down for the night. We talked a lot about entertainment, swapping favorite actor roles and the um..."abilities?" of Keanu Reeves. And Tarantino. And then we left, standing around in the parking lot for another good half hour swapping car stories (he drives an '03 Jeep that is the exact same color as my Cruze Eco). It was pretty awesome. Still no kissing yet.

BUT.

Before the night ended, he told me about a friend of his who is turning 30 on Saturday and is having birthday celebrations! And invited me to come along and join them. (i.e. - meet some of his friends) I made sure to let him know that I would be excited to join in, but only if it was okay with his friends that I crash. Don't want to crash a party - it's not ladylike. (Quoth this most insightful book , thank you Mars) And the plan is for him to pick me up and drive us to dinner/after-events.

And then after that is the Master Pancake Theater showing of "Back to the Future" - the plans are tentative that Karl will be joining myself, my brother and sister-in-law, and maybe another friend or two to see the show. (Sadly, it is already sold out. He has a ticket, though.) So...meeting friends, meeting family...maybe I'll invite him along to "game night" so he can meet some of my friends as well?

But in conclusion, I feel like it's going to be pointless to continue on a date-by-date basis. I'll just update if something big happens. Otherwise, you can assume that I'm having a lovely time. And maybe I've found a legitimate keeper?
